This was the first wedding I ever planned—our own—and the day that sparked it all. Clay and I met in California, so it felt only fitting to return to the coast that brought us together. We fell in love with the hospitality and sweeping ocean views at Montage Laguna Beach and knew it was the perfect place to say “I do.” Our vision was to create an unforgettable guest experience in a beautiful setting, where our family and friends could feel the same warmth and intention that shaped our love story. With Jeannie Savage of Details Details as our lead planner, everything came to life seamlessly—her guidance and expertise left a lasting impression on me. She encouraged me to begin training to become a lead planner myself. It was through this experience that I fell in love with wedding planning—the creative process, the thoughtful details, the joy of working together with an incredible vendor team to bring a vision to life, and most of all celebrating marriage alongside family and friends.
